Through a weekly Team Leader – Meeting and frequent meetings within the teams themselves, we are all kept up-to-date with the various areas of our project; ideas from all the others are incorporated into the different areas all the time to achieve the best possible results.
In the following section you can get a quick overview over all the different personalities, together forming our Daedalus-Project:
Team Leader, PR & Management, SimulationClemens mainly manages the whole project but also helps with simulation and testing. In addition, he is responsible for Stakeholder Analysis.
Clemens is Student of aerospace information technology at the University of Würzburg. He is in his 2nd year of studies. Also, he has an education in software engineering from the HTL Wiener Neustadt (Austria).
Team Leader Electronics, HardwareDue to his experience with model aircrafts and electronic technician training, he is responsible for the hardware of the project.
Florian is student of aerospace information technology at the University of Würzburg.
Team Leader Mechanics, PR & ManagementSince he was working at the South German Plastic Center (SKZ) as a student assistant. He gained experience in welding and manufacturing processes of polymers.
Abdu is student of Functional Materials (B.Sc.) at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg
Team Leader Simulation, PR & ManagementIvaylo studies Aerospace Information Technology at the University of Würzburg. He leads the Simulation Team and also helps in the PR & Management Team.
Team Leader Software, PR & ManagementOliver leads the software team. He has experience with bigger projects through his participation at “Jugendforscht” and other projects at the “Jugendforschungszentrum Herrenberg-Gäu Aerospace Lab e.V.”
Oliver is student of aerospace information technology at the University of Würzburg. He has an information technology graduation from “Gottlieb-Daimler Schule 1” a technical college.
Team Leader Telemetry, SimulationTobias leads the team of telemetry, but also helps in the software team, since the telemetry must be implemented in this part.
Like the most of the others he is studying aerospace information technology at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg in the same generation.
PR & Management (Social Media), MechanicsSince he was working with a few more online projects before, he gained good experience in Social Media Management.
Furthermore, he contributes as much as he can to help the Construction Team.
Eric is student of aerospace information technology at the University of Würzburg.
Mechanics (CAD)Since he was working for six month as an internship at RUAG Space before, he gained good experience in Space projects and requirements and is responsible for the CAD and construction of the project.
Jonas is student of plastic and rubber engineering at Hochschule for applied sciences of Würzburg.
SoftwareSince he has gained experience with graphical data representation within an internship at Airbus, he is responsible for the programming of the ground station software.
SoftwareHe is a student of Aerospace Information technology at the university of Würzburg. He gained some experience in programming in different projects at the ETH. He has a good background in theoretical CS and theoretical physics.
TelemetryLisa is a part of the telemetry team and works for that.
She is Student of aerospace information technology at the University of Würzburg. Lisa is in her 2nd year of studies.
Telemetry, SoftwareSarah is working in the telemetry team as well as in the software team.
She is taking part in the project to gain practical experience in line with her academical studies of aerospace technology at Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg

Technology at the University of Würzburg, he is a part of both the simulation and software teams.
SimulationBarbara is in the third semester at the University of Würzburg and is studying as well Aerospace Information.
SimulationJessica studies Aerospace Information Technology at the University of Würzburg.
She is in her second year of studies.
SimulationFatih studies Aerospace Information Technology at the University of Würzbürg and is currently undergoing his third semester.
President at TU Wien Space Team; Sponsoring, Funding, PR, Software Onboard-ComputerHe is a member of the Space Team since 2012 and president since 2015. He developed the Space Team ground station and has experience with the software of the Onboard-Computer.
Currently he is doing his Master’s degree in Engineering Physics at TU Wien and working part-time as embedded software developer at Schiebel Elektronische Geräte GmbH.
Vice-President of TU Wien Space Team; Project leader TU Wien Space Team, Electronics and Software Onboard-ComputerHe is member of the TU Wien Space Team since 2013. Recently, he was concerned with onboard electronics for experimental rockets and gained experience in developing embedded systems.
Christoph graduated in Automation Technology with focus on control at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at TU Wien, Vienna, Austria. At the moment he is doing his PhD at the Automation and Control Institute at TU Wien.
TU Wien Space TeamHe is studying electronics at TU Wien and he is working on the Onboard-Computer.
TU Wien Space TeamSebastian is in his 3rd year of studies at the TU Wien. He is working on the deployment mechanism.
TU Wien Space TeamRoman is part of the team developing the deployment system. He studies Mechanical Engineering at TU Wien and works at Institute of Mechanics and Mechatronics. Before studying he attended HTL Bregenz department of automation technology. He has experience in development and construction, especially of mechanical processing systems and hydroelectric facilities.
TU Wien Space TeamReinhard studies physics at the TU Wien and works as an electronics and software developer. He will work on the deployment mechanism in a mostly consulting role with a focus on system integration and interoperability.
TU Wien Space TeamPatrick is part of the Mechanics Team, developing the deployment mechanism and has experience with the hard- and software of the TU Wien Space Team’s onboard computer.
Patrick is a student of Technical Physics at the TU Wien and is in his 4th year of studies. He also has an education in mechanical engineering and automation from the HTL Waidhofen/Ybbs (Austria).
